After death of Turkish soldier | Turkish forces and their proxies fire tens of shells on Tel Tamr countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists say that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired tens of artillery shells since last night, targeting the villages of Tel Shanan, Dardarah, Um al-Kaif which is close to the Russian base, and other positions where regime forces are stationed in Tel Tamr countryside in al-Hasakah countryside.

Meanwhile, SDF responded to the Turkish artillery fire by shelling positions of the Turkish-backed factions in “Peace Spring” areas.

It is worth noting that the Turkish intensive bombardment resulted in the injury of a regime soldier who was taken to a hospital in the area, as well as forcing the residents to flee from villages near the frontlines between the factions and SDF in Tel Tamr countryside.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a Turkish soldier and three members of the Turkish-backed Ahrar al-Sharqiyya were killed due to an attack by SDF on their vehicle, a day earlier, with an IED near Alya in the countryside of Ras al-Ain.

Meanwhile, SDF carried out two other operations, targeting Ahrar al-Sharqiya and al-Hamza division in the same area, using IEDs and landmines, which left three Turkish-backed militiamen dead.

On Thursday, SOHR activists documented a spike in the number of people killed in the attack by a Turkish drone on the headquarters of the military relations bureau of Tel Tamr Military Council, as the death toll jumped to nine, including a female commander. Meanwhile, ten other people sustained various injuries due to the attack. According to sources, the attack targeted a meeting attended by military commanders.
