Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces and their proxies shell positions in Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin countryside, amid ongoing civilian exodus
Syrian Observatory activists say that civilian exodus continues in Abu Rasin (Zarkan) and Tel Tamr in al-Hasakah countryside, as the residents fear of military escalation on their areas.
On the other hand, Turkish rocket launchers and artillery units shelled, in the early hours of Sunday morning, the villages of al-Dardarah and Abboush villages in Tel Tamr countryside and frontlines with SDF in the south of Abu Rasin, but no casualties have been reported.
Yesterday, Observatory sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired tens of artillery shells, targeting the villages of Tel Shanan, Dardarah, Um al-Kaif which is close to the Russian base, and other positions where regime forces were stationed in Tel Tamr countryside in al-Hasakah countryside.
Meanwhile, SDF responded to the Turkish artillery fire by shelling positions of the Turkish-backed factions in “Peace Spring” areas.
It is worth noting that the Turkish intensive bombardment resulted in the injury of a regime soldier who was taken to a hospital in the area, as well as forcing the residents to flee from villages near the frontlines between the factions and SDF in Tel Tamr countryside.
