A turning point | “Victory” of Taliban wipes out Erdogan’s plan to send Syrian fighters to Kabul

Very reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that the Turkish intelligence have informed its proxy Syrian factions that the preparations for sending Syrian mercenaries to Kabul airport in Afghanistan were halted, after the Taliban had taken control of the entire Afghani geography.

Before the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Turkish intelligence had asked Sultan Murad Division, al-Hamza Division and other factions operating under the banner of the “Syrian National Army” to get hundreds of fighters prepared for protecting Kabul airport, according to the sources.

The sources added “several factions had refused to send their fighters to Afghanistan, justifying that the battles against the Taliban would be fatal. However, these preparations have been halted after the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan and Taliban’s control of the whole country.”
