Ceasefire violations | Two regime soldiers killed on Idlib frontlines, while Russian jets renew striking positions in the “de-escalation zone”

SOHR activists have documented the death of two regime soldiers, after being shot by jihadi snipers on the frontline of al-Malaja village in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

On the other hand, a Russian fighter jet have executed four airstrikes with high-explosive missiles on the surrounding areas of Kafrmayd village in al-Jabal al-Wastani area in the western countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties have been reported so far. It is worth noting that Turkish forces are stationed in a base nearby the village, on the road to Abu al-Zubayr village.

 

Accordingly, the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets on military positions and posts in the “de-escalation zone” since early August has risen to 52. These airstrikes targeted positions in the following areas:

 

The surrounding areas of al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiyah, the hills of Kabana in Latakia countryside, Duwayr al-Akrad in Hama countryside near the administrative border with Latakia countryside, Hursh Sheik Bahr in the west of Maarrat Masrin city in the northern countryside of Idlib, the poultry farms of Ain Shayb village to the west of Idlib city, the mountain in the south of Qurqanya town in the northern countryside of Idlib, the surrounding areas of Hemaymat village in Sahl al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, the outskirts of Kansafra, Mar’yan and al-Mawzarah towns in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.
