Ceasefire violations | Opposition factions shell regime positions in rural Aleppo, while regime forces shell positions in Idlib and Latakia

SOHR activists have reported seeing Russian fighter jets flying over Latakia countryside in the “de-escalation zone”.

Separately, the factions of “al-Fath al-Mubin” Operations Room fired mortars on regime positions on the frontlines of Miznaz town in the western countryside of Aleppo. Meanwhile, regime forces responded by shelling the surrounding areas of Maarrat al-Na’san town in Idlib countryside, near the administrative border with the western countryside of Aleppo.

In addition, regime forces shelled military positions of the factions in Duwayr al-Akrad and the hills of Kabana in the far region of the north-eastern countryside of Latakia.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of two regime soldiers, after being shot by jihadi snipers on the frontline of al-Malaja village in the southern countryside of Idlib.

On the other hand, a Russian fighter jet executed four airstrikes with high-explosive missiles on the surrounding areas of Kafrmayd village in al-Jabal al-Wastani area in the western countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties were reported. It is worth noting that Turkish forces were stationed in a base nearby the village, on the road to Abu al-Zubayr village.
