Turkish rising escalation in SDF-held areas |Turkish forces and its factions bombard al-Raqqah countryside

SOHR activists have reported that the Turkish forces and their proxies have bombarded with heavy artillery and mortar shells Qazali’s silos and villages, Kagel Abeed, Areeda and Afedko villages on the frontlines with SDF in the western countryside of Tel Abyad northern of al-Raqqah. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

The attacks have been carried out amid Turkish escalations along the border and cross-line with SDF and its military formations which work under SDF commands.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces stationed in military bases in Daoudiyah and Bab al-Faraj fired several rockets and artillery shells on Tel al-Ward, Bab al-Khair al-Sharqi and other positions in Abu Rasin district (Zarkan).

Furthermore, Turkish forces shelled, with mortars and artillery, the Assyrian village of Tel Shamiran near al-Hasakah-Aleppo international highway, Tel Jemay’at al-Ashuriyah and al-Dardarah.
