Old ordnance | Child dies and his brother injured in explosion in refugee camp in Idlib countryside

Idlib countryside: Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of a child and injury of his brother due to the explosion of an unexploded bomb in a refugee camp in Harbanoush area in the north-western countryside of Idlib.

This incident came 48 hours after the death of two sibling children in Idlib countryside, as SOHR activists documented on August 24 the death of two sibling children and injury of two others, after the explosion of an unexploded projectiles in al-Sawaghiyah village to the north-east of Idlib city.

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of 575 people, including 78 women and 194 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and the Syrian South since early January 2019.
