Renewed airstrikes | Russian jets target areas near Turkish posts in Idlib countryside

SOHR sources have reported that Russian fighter jets renewed their airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone”, targeting the surrounding areas of al-Bara in Jabal al-Zawiyah and the outskirts of Majdaliyah village in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib with eight airstrikes. The Russian strikes hit positions near the Turkish posts.

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets executed successive strikes on the surrounding areas of al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib. No casualties were reported.

Yesterday, reliable sources informed SOHR that the Russian fighter jets executed eight airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone” in the morning, as five airstrikes hit the hills of Kabani in Latakia countryside, while the three others hit the surrounding areas of al-Fterah in the southern countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties were reported.

Accordingly, the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets on military positions and posts in the “de-escalation zone” since early August has risen to 68. These airstrikes targeted positions in the countryside of Idlib, Latakia and Hama.
