For the third day | New assassination targets Iraqi refugee at “al-Hawl mini-state”

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported a new assassination which targeted an Iraqi refugee who was shot this morning by armed men believed to be members of ISIS cells, while he was in the first section of al-Hawl camp.

 

It is worth noting that the number of murders committed in al-Hawl camp since the end of the first phase of the large-scale security campaign has reached 28, which indicates to alarming escalation of killings in the camp.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of an Iraqi refugee after being shot at chest and shoulders by unknown gunmen, but believed to be ISIS affiliates, in front of his tent in the first section of al-Hawl camp.
