Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that a man working for the military security branch in Jasim city in northern Daraa sustained light wounds, as unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on him.

It is worth noting that the son of the targeted man was assassinated nearly a month ago for “dealing with regime security branches”.

Separately, SOHR sources say that regime tanks renewed their bombardment on the neighbourhoods of Daraa al-Balad which is under a strict siege by regime forces for months, while the residents are struggling with alarming humanitarian situation.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning tank and mortar attacks by regime forces on the neighbourhoods of Daraa al-Balad in the early hours of Saturday morning. Meanwhile, clashes erupted between regime forces and local gunmen on the frontlines of al-Manshiyah area, amid the fight of reconnaissance drones.
