Old ordnance | Child killed in explosion in Daraa countryside

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported the death of a child and injury of others due to explosion of an unexploded cluster bomb, in al-Lajaa region in the eastern countryside of Daraa, while they were grazing sheep in the area.

 

On Aug 28, SOHR activists reported that two children were killed, while their mother was injured seriously when an old land mine exploded in Qarfa village in north Daraa countryside.

 

Syrian Observatory activists documented the death of 579 people, including 78 women and 197 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and the Syrian South since early January 2019.
