Old Ordnance | Man and his child killed in landmine explosion in Idlib countryside

Idlib province: SOHR activists have reported the death of a man and his son due to explosion of an old landmine, while they were picking figs in the outskirts of al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiya in the countryside of Idlib.

 

Syrian Observatory activists documented the death of 581 people, including 78 women and 198 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and the Syrian South since early January 2019.
