“De-escalation zone” | Russian airstrikes hit positions in rural Latakia, while regime forces shell nearly 20 villages in Idlib and Hama countryside

SOHR sources have reported that a regime soldier was killed and three others were injured, as fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham fired a guided missile on their position on Jabal al-Akrad frontline in Latakia countryside.

 

Meanwhile, Jihadi factions attacked regime positions on the frontlines of Hazarin in Idlib countryside.

 

Moreover, opposition factions fired several artillery shells on regime positions in al-Jayyid, al-Darbalah, Jureen, al-Bahsah, al-Raseef and Ain Salmou in western Hama.

 

On the other hand, two Russian fighter jets struck Kabana frontline in Jabal al-Akrad in Latakia countryside, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Also, regime forces shelled 18 villages in Idlib and Hama countryside, targeting (1) Kherbet al-Naqous, (2) al-Hemaydiyah, (3) al-Doqmq, (4) Qastoun, (5) Tel A’war, (6) al-Qarqour, (7) al-Sarmaniyah, (8) Duwayr al-Akrad, (9) al-Zeyyarah, (10) Hemaymat in Sahl al-Ghab in Hama countryside, near the administrative border with Idlib, (11) Marj al-Zuhour, (12) Ghaniyah, (13) Shaghoureet, (14) Muhambal, (15) Ain Larouz, (16) Kansafrah, (17) al-Fataerah and (18) Frekah in Idlib countryside.

 

Observatory sources had documented the death of a woman and injury of another civilian in a artillery fire by regime forces on Frekah town in west Idlib countryside.

 

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported rocket fire by regime forces on Thursday morning in the neighbourhood of Hursh Banin, Kansfara and al-Fatirah in south Idlib countryside and other areas in Jabal al-Turkman in north Latakkia countryside. Meanwhile, opposition factions bombarded regime forces positions in al-Jayed, a-Bahsah, Jureen, al-Raseef in west Hama countryside and the frontline of al-Dar al-Kabirah in south Idlib countryside.
