Idlib | Woman, child and university vice-president are among four people killed in ground shelling by regime forces on two posts

SOHR activists have reported the death of four civilians including a woman, the Vice President of Idlib University for Administrative Affairs and his son, and another man in an artillery shelling carried out by the regime forces stationed in Saraqib city. Bombardments hit the Al-Dabbit neighborhood in Idlib city, and a family park on the outskirts of Idlib, while over ten other people were injured. Death toll may increase because some sustained severe wounds.

Shortly earlier, SOHR activists reported that a woman died affected by injuries which she sustained a while ago in an artillery shelling by the regime forces on al-Dabbit neighborhood in Idlib city.

On the other hand, one of the fired shells hit a pool and a park in the eastern outskirts of Idlib city, causing the death of two people and the injury of five others.

On the same aspect, “al-Fath al-Mubin” operations room shelled, with heavy artillery, regime positionsin Saraqib city. However, no casualties were reported.

Regime forces bombarded with heavy artillery Idlib city and its surroundings and Wadi al-Naseem with several artillery shells. The shelling source was from Saraqib city where regime forces are stationed, coinciding with the passage of a Turkish forces’ convoy in the region.
