Peace Spring factional infighting | Clashes in Al-Hasaka countryside kill one and two in al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasaka province: SOHR activists have reported that one member of the Turkish intelligence backed al-sham Corps was killed in machine gun clashes between al-Hamza Division and al-Sham corps due to a dispute over money in Ras al-Ain city(Sere Kaniye).

During the clashes, two wounded including Secretary General of Al-Hamza division and one fighter of al-Sham corps.

On September 4, SOHR sources reported that a civilian from Mahakan town in Deir Ezzor countryside was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Ras al-Ain city (Sere Kanye) in “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah countryside. This assassination came in light of the ongoing security chaos throughout Syria.

While on August 29, SOHR activists in “Peace Spring” area reported that a member of the Turkish-backed National Army shot dead a smuggler, who helped people to sneak into Turkey, in al-Shoukan village in Selouk district in northern al-Raqqa.

According to SOHR, a dispute flared up between the smuggler and the Turkish-backed militiaman over revenue-sharing evolved to gunfire by the militiaman, which resulted in the death of the smuggler.
