Ceasefire violations | Rocket attacks on Ariha leaves many injured, amid exchange of fire between regime forces and rebels in Jabal al-Zawiyah

SOHR sources have reported rocket fire by regime forces in the early hours of Friday morning, which targeted positions in al-Fterah and its outskirts, Fulayfel and Baianin in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, four civilians sustained injuries due to regime bombardment on Ariha city in southern Idlib at midnight.

 

On the other hand, exchange of fire with heavy and medium weapons erupted between regime forces and their proxy militias on one hand, and factions of “al-Fath al-Mubin” operations room on the other on the frontline of Fulayfel. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets renewed their airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone”, targeting al-Khudur frontline in Jabal al-Akrad in northern Latakia, along with flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over the southern countryside of Idlib and north Latakia countryside.

 

Earlier in the morning, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets renewed their airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone” this morning, targeting positions in al-Bara town which hosts a Turkish observation post in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties were reported.
