After death of two Turkish soldiers in Idlib | Turkish Minister of Defense visits Syria-Turkey border
SOHR sources have reported that the Turkish Minister of Defense “Hulusi Akar” has paid a visit to the Syria-Turkey border where he met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces General “Yaşar Güler”, the Commander of the First Army General “Musa Avsever” and commanders of the military units on the border strip.
Also, a meeting was held, in which the recent development on the ground and future plans were discussed. It is worth noting that this visit comes after the death of two Turkish soldiers and injury of four others in IED explosion in a Turkish armoured vehicle on Friday evening.
SOHR sources confirmed this morning the death of two Turkish soldiers and injury of four others, after an IED explosion targeted their vehicle on the road between Idlib and Nabash in northern Idlib, amid unconfirmed reports of the death of a third soldier.
On the other hand, “Abu Bakr al-Siddiq” battalion claimed responsibility of the attack.
