Fearing possible advance | SDF amass its troops, as Russian armoured vehicles approach SDF-held areas in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that Russian forces ran a patrol of three armoured vehicles on the border strip separating regime-held areas from SDF-held areas in the north countryside of Deir Ezzor. Meanwhile, SDF amassed its troops in the region, fearing of any Russian attempt to cross into areas under their control, especially after the Russian patrol reached the “zero point” on al-Salihya bridge.

It is worth noting that Russian and Regime troops are deployed in SDF-held areas and stationed in several military bases there according to a previous agreement which was reached between SDF and the Russians, during the Turkish troops’ advancement in “Peace Spring” areas.
