Aleppo | Turkish forces bombard Kurdish-held villages and positions in northern countryside

Aleppo province : SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled, with heavy artillery and mortars, the vicinity of Om al-Housh and Harbal villages in the Kurdish-held areas in north Aleppo countryside. However no casualties have been reported.

 

On the other hand, Turkish forces stationed in a military base in al-Sheikh Naser village bombarded positions in areas controlled by SDF-backed military formations in Manbij countryside, where artillery shells hit the populated villages of al-Sayada, Om Ads and al-Dandaliya, but no casualties have been reported.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that Kurdish forces targeted a military vehicle of al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah, with a guided missile, on the frontline of Mar’anaz village in Aleppo countryside. However no casualties were reported.

 

On the other hand, an artillery shell of unknown origin hit a position near Baish Jarab village in al-Bab countryside, which caused material damage only.

 

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces fired several rockets on Kurdish-held areas in Tel Rifaat and Mar’anaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported. It is worth noting that Tel Rifaat hosts a Russian military base.
