Nearly 130 airstrikes on “Putin-Erdogan” since beginning of September | Russian aerial attacks near Iskanderun region leave injuries

SOHR activists have reported the injury of several civilians due to bombardment by Russian jets near refugee camps, including a camp for displaced “widows”, in the northern countryside of Jisr al-Shugur.

Similarly, a Russian air raid has targeted an abandoned “poultry farm” where Turkestani fighters are stationed near Zarzur town.

SOHR activists have monitored a Russian jet flying over the Syria borders with Iskenderun region. However, it executed airstrikes in an area less than ten km away from the Syria-Turkey border.

Accordingly, the number of Russian airstrikes which targeted “Putin-Erdogan” area since the beginning of September has risen to 129.

A while ago, SOHR activists documented fire exchange of four Russian warplanes at the vicinity of al-Hamah and Zarzour villages near Darkoush at the Syrian borders with Eskandron in west Idlib countryside amid reports about targeting widows camp at the outskirts of Zarour town. The attack coincided with Russian aircrafts flying over the de-escalation areas.

The Russian escalations on Putin-Erdoghan areas targeted the region for fifteen times during the current month via tens of strikes that caused material and physical losses.
