Daraa deal |Above 240 persons struck reconciliation in west Daraa amid ongoing search by regime forces and Russian police

Daraa province: The regime forces and the Russian military police have continued searching the houses in al- Muzayrib city in west Daraa countryside in search for weapons and ammunition.

The process coincided with the ongoing reconciliation process as number of those struck settlements have rise to 240 in the city either the wanted gunmen or the wanted civilians who fled the obligatory conscription in the regime army.

The reconciliation process is part of the deal that has been reached on Sept. 14 between Daraa dignitaries and the regime security committee under Russian mediation. It is worth noting that the deal has been enforces on Wednesday night.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the dignitaries of Tafas city’s tribes in Daraa countryside met with representatives of the military personnel and civilians, and all attendees agreed on evading military operations, destruction of the city and displacement of the residents. According to the sources, the attendees of today’s meeting authorized the Central Committee and several dignitaries from the city to negotiate with the Syrian regime, to make sure that dignity of the town’s people would be preserved and security stability would be achieved.

On the other hand, dozens of al-Muzayrib residents in west Daraa countryside handed over their weapons, including machineguns, shoulder-mounted missile launchers and munitions boxes. On the first day of implementing al-Muzayrib town agreement, over 200 suspects including local armed men, regime army defectors and people who passed their date of joining the mandatory service to regime’s security branches, as striking reconciliation deals and handing over weapons will continue tomorrow.

Earlier yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a Russian military delegation entered al- Muzayrib town in west Daraa countryside accompanied with the Syrian regime‘s security committee to enforce the deal that it had signed on Tuesday with the town dignitaries. Based on the deal, Russian police and security committee will strike reconciliation with the wanted local gunmen, those fled conscription with regime army, and searching some houses and seizing weapons like what happened in al-Yadodah town two days ago and Daraa al-Balad several days ago. The operation is anticipated to include villages and towns in western countryside after ending with al- Muzayrib.
