Military drones comb desert | New SDF and International Coalition security campaign target ISIS cells on al-Hasakah countryside

 

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that the vicinity of al-Hasakah city, especially the east and the south east countryside have witnessed intensive security presence since the early hours of Friday.

The combing operation was carried out by the SDF escorted by the International Coalition amid hovering of the International Coalition. The campaign included villages of al-Farhyah, al-Toshan, al-Villat al-Homr and al-Aabed and other villages in the region. The security operation targeted ISIS cells and other wanted by the SDF with different charges.

On Sept. 13, the International Coalition has SOHR activists reported that the National Coalition forces carried out an airdrop on the outskirts of al-Hasakah city this dawn, arresting two persons accused of “belonging to ISIS”. The security forces also seized weapons and equipment in the possession of the two people, according to SOHR activists.

On September 4, SOHR activists reported that SDF Special Forces escorted by the International Coalition carried out a security operation in al-Azba village in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where they detained a 15-year-old child who formerly belonged to ISIS.

A day earlier, SOHR sources reported that SDF, backed by International Coalition helicopters, arrested a man from Theban town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor for working for ISIS cells.
