Military escalation | Turkish forces and their proxies renew intensive bombardment on SDF-held areas in north-east Syria

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported ongoing military escalation by Turkish forces and their proxy militias on SDF-controlled areas in north-east Syria, as the intensive bombardment by the Turks and the factions continued on al-Dardarah village in Tel Tamr countryside in northern al-Hasakah. It is worth noting that several shells hit a school in the village, which caused material damage. While other shells hit positions near the M4 highway, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions have shelled al-Dardara village and positions near “M4” highway in Tel Tamr countryside in al-Hasakah countryside, where the ground bombardment targeted civilians’ houses.

 

On September 15, SOHR activists reported rocket fire by Turkish forces and their proxies on al-Dararah area which is under the control of SDF in Tel Tamr countryside in north al-Hasakah province, which caused material damage only.

 

Turkish forces stationed in the military base in al-Da’oudyah village had bombarded, with heavy artillery, the villages of Nowihat, Khadrawy and the vicinity of al-Asadiyah and Kasry in north Abu Raseen countryside, along with firing flares near the frontlines with SDF, but no casualties were reported.
