After Daraa al-Balad, al-Yadoudah and al-Muzayrib | Security committee and Russian military police enter Tafas

Daraa province: SOHR activists in Daraa have reported that the Syrian regime’s security committee and the Russian military police entered Tafas city in the western countryside of Daraa in order to start implementing the terms of the agreement reached between representatives and dignitaries of the city on one hand, and the Russians and regime forces on the other. According to the agreement, suspects and local gunmen will strike new reconciliations, along with inspection of the city’s houses and confiscation of weapons.

On Thursday, SOHR sources reported that regime forces and the Russian military police continued inspection operations in houses in al-Muzayrib city in west Daraa countryside, searching for weapons and ammunition.

The process coincided with the ongoing striking of reconciliations, as the number of suspects, local gunmen, military deserters and people who passed their date of joining the mandatory service to regime’s security branches who had their security situation settled rose to 240.

This development comes as a part of the deal reached on September 14 between dignitaries of al-Muzarib city and the regime security committee, under Russian supervision. It is worth noting that the deal was enforces on Wednesday night.

A day earlier, SOHR activists reported that the dignitaries of Tafas city’s tribes in Daraa countryside met with representatives of the military personnel and civilians, and all attendees agreed on evading military operations, destruction of the city and displacement of the residents.
