North Aleppo countryside | Clashes renew between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions

Aleppo province: Syrian Observatory activists have reported renewed clashes, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines nearby Mare’ city in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The clashes coincided with exchange of bombardment, along with ground bombardment by Turkish forces on Kurdish-held areas. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported rocket attacks by Turkish forces and their proxy militias in the early hours of Monday morning, which targeted positions in the Kurdish-held villages of Zoban, Sadd al-Shahbaa and Tel Madiq in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.

 

On Sunday, SOHR activists documented the death of a regime soldier and injury of two others in artillery fire by Turkish forces and their proxies on the Kurdish-held village of Sawghanqa in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in northern Aleppo.
