Torture victim | Civilian dies in Turkish-backed faction’ prison in “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported the death of a civilian known initially as “H.D.” from al-Tayana town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, under brutal torture and shortage of medical care in the prison of “Suqur al-Shama” the armed group of the Turkish-backed “National Army”.

This accident took place in Ras al-Ain (Sere Kanyie) city under control of the “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah countryside.

It is worth noting that, violence and torture in Turkish-backed faction’s prisons are dramatically escalating, where SOHR activists have monitored the brutal torture of a child by members of al-Sultan Murad brigade in the beginning of September. While, elements of the same faction tortured another child in Ras al-Ayn city, and demanded the child’s parents to pay ransom for his release.
