Execution of 12 criminals | Syrian regime Military judiciary implements several death sentences against suspects in previous murders

SOHR activists have reported that the Syrian regime courts have issued death sentences against Syrian civilians, after being found guilty in horrific crimes. The death sentences were executed by the military judiciary against the following criminals:

 

• A man and his wife who killed the man’s children on May 19, 2020, in Daf al-Shawk town in Rif Dimashq province. The father known by his initials as A. B. and his wife known as G. Q. had intentionally murdered the father’s three children called “Qatr al-Nada” who was born in 2016, “Muhammed” who was born in 2018 and “Yazn” who was born in 2019. At first, the father and his wife, the children’s aunt, claimed that the children suffered severe diarrhea and vomiting, and that they did not know the reasons for their death. However, after the medical examination, the wife acknowledged that she and her husband tried to killed the three children by putting rat poison in their food. The children did not die of poison, so the father mixed liquid insecticide with the children’s drink and food, but again they did not die, as they vomited the poisoned food. When the father found that the children are still alive, he choked them, one by one, to death by putting his hands on their mouth and nose cutting their breath until they died.

 

• A man who killed al-Haram branch’s manager in Qudseia neighborhood in Rif Dimashq on July 25, 2019, during an armed robbery in the branch in day time, after breaking into the branch on a motorbike.

 

• Two men known as G. D. and R. D. who committed mass rape in Tartus province on March 5, 2021. The two men stormed a house in security officer uniforms, tied the husband, the wife and their two daughters, gagged them with tape and looted their money, gold jewelry and their cell phones. Before leaving, the two men dragged the daughters to another room where they successively raped them with their parents hearing the cries of their helpless daughters who could not escape from the criminals.

 

• Two men who killed an elderly man known as A. A. and his wife in Kafr Sussa in Damascus governorate on November 12, 2020. After the two men monitored the victims for a while, they stormed the house, strangled the man and his wife to death with a rope and stole their money.

 

• A man known by his initials as H. S. who killed a woman known as J. H. in her bird shop in al-Nabaa area in al-Bludan region in Rif Dimashq on September 4, 2019. The man hit the lady with a hard tool on her head in order to rob the shop, killing her immediately.

 

• A man known as A. H. who committed a murder in Hama province in the summer of 2015, with the help of his partner who died after this crime. The two men shot a man known as N. F. dead, stole his car and set fire to his body, after dumping it to the dumpster.

 

• A man known as H. H. who strangled a woman known as D. K. to death and stole her gold and jewelry in al-Sallamiyah in Hama province On November 16, 2018.

 

• Two men known by their initials as H. A. and M. A. who murdered a man known as A. H. and looted his house.
