Security chaos in al-Suwaydaa continuous | Unknown gunmen kidnap a civilian and ask for huge ransom

Al-Suwaydaa province: SOHR activists have reported that unknown gunmen kidnapped a civilian yesterday in al-Suwaydaa city, and demanded his parents pay 100,000 USD in return for releasing him. The kidnappers threatened to kill civilian in case that his family did not pay the ransom. It is worth noting that the victim owns a pastry shop in al-Suwaydaa city.

 

Yesteryday, SOHR activists reported that the dead body of a young man was found in al-Ghareia town in al-Suwaydaa countryside, after murderers stole the victim’s car which he worked on as a taxi at night, and then the murderers fled to an unknown destination.

 

Residents found the body, dumped near al-Ferwan well in south of al-Ghareia town where the victim used to work as a guard of the well.

 

In the same town, unknown gunmen tried looting a cow farm in northern al-Ghareia town, after they disabled the surveillance cameras, but the guard managed to communicate with the town population to rescue him, which forced the gunmen to flee to an unknown destination.
