Insecurity in Autonomous Administration | Members of Ankara-backed factions kill civilian and loot dozens of animals

Al-Raqqa province: SOHR activists have reported the infiltration of members of Ankara-backed factions in the early hours of Wednesday into Debs village in west Ain Essa countryside that is under control of the SDF.

The factions’ members have looted dozens of sheep and cattle and killed the owner of the animal after kidnapping him with his animals and then shot him dead and threw his body in the street. The attack has also wounded parents of the victim and violent clashes erupted between the factions’ members and SDF. But, no casualties have been reported at both sides.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory activists reported rocket attacks by Turkish forces on positions in the SDF-held village of al-Dabas in the western countryside of Ain Essa in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah. However, no casualties have been reported.

It is worth noting that Ain Essa is the “capital of Autonomous Administration” in north-east Syria region.

On September 17, SOHR activists documented the death of four persons, including a boy under the age of eighteen, due to Turkish rocket attacks, while digging tunnels for Syria Democratic Forces in Dabas village in Ain Issa countryside, the “capital of Autonomous Administration” in north-east Syria region. The attacks also left several people wounded.
