Factions dispute in Afrin | Evacuating house to allegedly give it back to owners, violent clashes erupt between factions in Bulbul district in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that violent clashes have erupted between “Jaish al-Nukhba” and “Suqur al-Shamal” in Abudan village in Bulbul district in Afrin countryside northwestern of Aleppo, after “Suqur al-Shamal” refused to stop at a checkpoint under control of “Jaish al-Nukhba”.

The violent clashes extended to Shaikhurza village neighboring Abudan village, where both sides used heavy and medium machineguns, causing the injury of four members of “Suqur al-Shamal” and the injury of others in “Jaish al-Nukhba’s” side, along with mobilizing large military reinforcements by both sides towards Bulbul district.

On the other hand, members of “Jaish al-Nukhba” opened fire on displaced persons in Shaikhurza village, when they refused to evacuate the houses they live in, causing different wounds among civilians.

This came after “Jaish al-Nukhba” demanded the dipslaced to evacuate their houses under pretext of handing them to their owners.

Earlier today, Bulbul district witnessed military tension between al-Muwaly tribe and the National Liberation Front “NLF” after al-Muwaly tribe set up a condolence tent for one of the tribe members who was a regime supporter in Hama city, but National Liberation front elements removed the tent, with growing tension in Bulbul district.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported differences recently between Ahrar al-Sham faction on one side, and the 9th Corps on the other in Afrin city under control of the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed National Army factions.

The differences rise when each faction has looted the properties of civilians and worked on kicking members of the other faction under pretext of restoring the houses to their owners or to their proxies.
But the main reason was each faction wanted to size the other factions looted houses.

According to SOHR, the joint Rights Committee has interfered in settling disputes between the two factions and decided to prevent any member out of the houses to prevent escalation of disputes into armed clashes.
