Escorted with International Coalition helicopters | SDF carries out security campaign and arrests two civilians in al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that the Special Forces of SDF escorted by the International Coalition carried out a security operation yesterday in al-Hasakah, where they arrested two brothers, one of whom is a media activist, in al-Bumaesh neighborhood in al-Hasakah city.

Meanwhile the forces cordoned off the neighborhood until the end of the security operation and arrested the wanted suspects. local sources told SOHR that the two arrested are members in ISIS cell and that security forces found weapons, documents and communication devices in their possession.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the SDF closed road 60 in Ghouiryah district in al-Hasakah city, which coincided with carrying out security operation in the same neighborhood where a prison that hosts ISIS members is located.

The combing operation aimed at searching for ISIS cells and weapons while the International Coalition hovered above the region.

On July 9, International Coalition helicopters flew over al-Senaa’ah prison which is known as Ghoiran prison in al-Hasakah city and fired signals in the region sky. Such moves coincided with SDF members alert in the vicinity of the prison maid information about disobedience of ISIS inside the prison.

On August 26, SOHR activists documented a security alert of the SDF and the Internal Security Forces in Ghowiran neighborhood in al-Hasakah near al-Sinaaha Prison which was escorted with International Coalition helicopters in the areas, but no information have been reported about security breach in the prison that hosts members of ISIS.

On August 12, SOHR activists reported security alert of SDF in Ghouran neighborhood in al-Hasakah city that was coincided with hovering of the International Coalition helicopters at low altitude level.
