Aleppo province: SOHR sources in “Olive Branch” areas have reported an IED explosion in a car in al-Ashrafiyyah neighbourhood in Afrin city which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy favtions. The explosion caused material damage, but no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported violent clashes between “Jaish al-Nukhba” and “Suqur al-Shamal” in Abudan village in Bulbul district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo, after “Suqur al-Shamal” refused to stop at a checkpoint under the control of “Jaish al-Nukhba”.

The violent clashes extended to Shaikhurza village neighboring Abudan village, where both sides used heavy and medium weapons, which resulted in the injury of four members of “Suqur al-Shamal” and the  injury of other militiamen of “Jaish al-Nukhba”. Meanwhile, booth sides brought in large military reinforcements to Bulbul district.

On the other hand, members of “Jaish al-Nukhba” opened fire on displaced persons in Shaikhurza village, when they refused to evacuate the houses they lived in, leaving several civilians injured. This attack came after “Jaish al-Nukhba” demanded the displaced people to evacuate their houses under the pretext of “restoring them to their real owners”.

Earlier in the morning, Bulbul district experienced growing military tension between al-Muwaly tribe and the National Liberation Front “NLF”, after members of National Liberation Front removed a funeral reception tent set by al-Muwaly tribe for offering condolences to family of pro-regime tribesman in Hama city.
