Daraa ongoing settlement | Coinciding with striking reconciliation in Tal Shehab and Central countryside, Russian-mediated deal on settlement in Yarmouq basin near occupied Golan

Daraa province: SOHR activists on Wednesday in Daraa city have reported a meeting between officers of the security committee from one side and dignitaries in Yarmouq basin on the other to settle the conditions of the population in al-Yarmouq and the entry of the regime forces in the regime like other areas.

According to sources, striking reconciliation and handing over weapons in Sahem al-Golan town starting from Saturday, July 25 under mediation and presence of the Russian side.

The new deal will include Sahem al-Golan and villages in Gileen and Hayet and then moving to the border towns with al-Golan area and follow on the settlement work in the villages of Gomlah, al-Shagarah, Ma’ryah, Abdeen, Koya, Bayet Arah, Nafa’a, al-Shoubrouq, al-Masratayah and Ain Zakr.

SOHR activists have document the beginning of settling conditions of the wanted for the obligatory conscription and the local and deserters as well as the local gunmen and some civilians in Da’al city in central Daraa countryside in light of the new deals that have been enforced in Daraa province in southern part of Syria between the central committee and dignitaries of the province from one side and the regime forces and the security services on the other under Russian supervision.

Earlier on Thursday, SOHR sources reported that the members of the regime security services deployed in Zayzoun and al-Ajami areas in Tel Shehab town in the western countryside of Daraa with the aim to start combing operations and inspection in the region’s farms, as implementation of agreement reached in west Daraa countryside is still underway Meanwhile, more people struck new reconciliations in the western countryside of Daraa, as tens of suspected were seen heading to the centres established in the region, under Russian supervision.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a delegation of the Syrian regime heading by Daraa governor and the province police chairman who were accompanied by the Russin military police visited Tafs on Wednesday morning.

The visit coincided with striking more settlements in Tafs city and the other areas in the west countryside of Daraa province where the regime delegation met with the central committees and dignitaries of Tafs.

In Daraa al-Balad, SOHR activists reported that the regime forces opened the crossing of al-Saraya that separates Daraa al-Balad in center of the city after removing the soil barriers, and also evacuated and reopened five checkpoints to apply the deals that were run between the regime forces and Daraa committees and dignitaries under Russian supervision.

The evacuated checkpoints were: Sahat Basru, Souq al-Hal, Al-Sanyiyah, al-Syasah at the entrance of al-Sabeel neighborhood, and Kornich al-Matar.

SOHR sources reported earlier that after new deals in Daraa province that have been reached between the central committee and dignitaries of the region on one side and the regime forces and its security services under Russian mediation on the other. Processes of settlement and light and medium weapons handing over have continued starting from Daraa al-Balad that was under control of local gunmen and neighborhoods of west Daraa countryside in the 17th day since the new deal was implemented.

Number of people who stuck reconciliation during that period reached 2,300 of the wanted for the mandatory conscription and reservists, local gunmen and some civilians.

According to SOHR documentations, numbers of those stuck reconciliations are categorized as: nearly 1,100 local gunmen, civilians and wanted for the mandatory conscription and reservists in Daraa al-Balad, 1,200 in west Daraa countryside, 800 in Tafs, 400 in Tal Shehab, while new reconciliations are continuous.

Meanwhile, 460 individual weapons have been handed out while settlement operations continue in west Daraa countryside like al-Yadodah, al-Mazyreen, Masakin Jellen, and Zezourn while the regime forces and its security services escorted by the Russian military police enter other areas in Daraa countryside in the coming days to strike new reconciliations to completely finish the file of Daraa.

The regime forces and its security services have deployed in 13 new posts since the new deal started. The new deployments have distributed as the following: 8 posts in Daraa al-Balad in al-Behar neighborhood, the vicinity of the al-Omary mosque, al-Abasyiyah, al-Shalal, al-Qoubah, al-Mosalah, al-Shabibah and the vicinity of al-Kazabah.

Meanwhile, in Tafs, three military posts have been established, and the regime forces have been settled in the old police station in al-Mazareeb town, and a new checkpoint in Masaken Jalbin was fixed. So, the regime forces will be deployed in the coming days on new military posts and positions.
