Ongoing military escalation in NE Syria | Turkish forces renew bombardment on Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan)

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed in military bases in Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan) renewed their artillery fire on areas under the control of SDF and regime forces in al-Hasakah countryside this morning, targeting positions in Ghabboush and its surroundings in the area between Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin, near regime positions. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

On September 19, SOHR activists monitored clashes with heavy weapons between SDF on one hand, and Turkish forces and their proxy factions on the other, on the frontline of al-Dardara village in Tel Tamr countryside in al-Hasakah province, where the several Turkish artillery shells hit civilians’ abundant houses. No casualties were reported.
