Russian-sponsored agreements in Daraa | Regime forces and Russian military police enter al-Yarmouk Basin to start new reconciliations

Daraa province: SOHR sources have reported that regime forces and Russian military police entered Sahem al-Golan town in al-Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa under the Russian-sponsored agreement reached between the security committee and dignitaries of the area. This agreement stipulates for striking of new reconciliations, handing over of weapons, inspections of houses and redeployment of regime forces.

 

According to SOHR sources, over 127 individuals are wanted by regime security services in the towns and villages of Jamla, Hayt, al-Shajarah, Sahem al-Golan, Kuya, Jilin, Abdeen, Beit Aarah and al-Muzayra’a. who have to strike new reconciliation deals and hand over their weapons.

 

New reconciliations are also supposed to be struck with other military deserters and young people who passed their date of joining the mandatory service to regime’s security branches.

 

On Wednesday, SOHR activists in Daraa city reported a meeting between officers of the security committee and dignitaries in Yarmouk Basin to settle the security situation of suspects in Yarmouq Basin and start deployment of regime forces like in the other areas where similar terms had been implemented across Daraa province.

 

According to sources, striking the new reconciliations and handing over of weapons in Sahem al-Golan town would start on Saturday, September 25, under supervision of Russian officers.

 

The new deal would cover Sahem al-Golan and villages in Jilin, Hayet the border towns with the Syrian Occupied Golan, Jamlah, al-Shajarah, Ma’ryah, Abdeen, Koya, Bayet Arah, Nafa’a, al-Shabraq, al-Masratayah and Ain Zekr.
