Nearly 200 airstrikes in September | Russian fighter jets renew targeting positions in “de-escalation zone”

SOHR sources have reported that Russian fighter jets executed four airstrikes of Ain Shaip area on the western outskirts Idlib city, one airstrike on al-Ruwayha in Idlib countryside and two airstrikes on Duwayr al-Akrad and al-Sarmaniyyah in Sahl al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.


Russian jets had targeted positions and military headquarters of Hayyaat Tahir al-Sham on the outskirts of al-Fu’ah in the eastern countryside of Idlib with five airstrikes this morning, but no casualties were reported.


Also, a kamikaze drone, believed to be Russian, attacked the outskirts of al-Bara and Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib. No casualties were reported.


Accordingly, the number of Russian airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone” since early September has risen to 198, as 150 airstrikes hit positions across Idlib province, 25 airstrikes were executed on Latakia province, four airstrikes were executed on Hama province and 19 airstrikes hit positions in Aleppo province.
