Landmine attack | Explosion targets SDF vehicle on the road connecting al-Hasakah and al-Raqqah
SOHR activists have reported a landmine explosion this evening, which hit an SDF military vehicle on the road connecting al-Hasakah and al-Raqqah provinces in the Autonomous Administration-held area, which caused material damage only.
A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that SDF Special Units and Counter-Terrorism Special Units (H.A.T.) escorted by the International Alliance helicopters have stormed the east, west and south parts of al-Raqqa city, the former capital of ISIS and arrested three members on charges with working for ISIS cells.
In the morning, SOHR activists reported that the International Coalition forces have carried out an air drop in the early hours of Sunday at the vicinity of al-Shayhal countryside in east Deir Ezzor countryside. The attack killed three persons who were accused of affiliating and working for ISIS and the forces also arrested two other with the same charges.

Details about the air drop unveiled that a helicopter of the International Coalition chased three members of ISIS who were hiding near a checkpoint for the Special Forces in al-Shabaka neighborhood in al-Shaheel town.
The two sides exchanged fire which killed three ISIS members near Euphrates River in al-Shaheel town, who are from Swuidan Jazeerah village.
In al-Zar village in east Deir Ezzor, the international coalition with participation of five ground forces in the early morning of Sunday have also made an air drop that targeted a house hosting ISIS affiliated members, where the International Coalition forces demanded, through speakers, people in the house to surrender, which led to clashes between them causing injury of three of the people in the house and withdrawal of the International Coalition forces after they arrested them and burned their house.
