Aleppo | Turkish forces shell Kurdish-held areas with heavy artillery

SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces have shelled, with heavy artillery, positions in the Kurdish-held villages of Sughanka, Mayasa, Burj Qas and Qunaitara in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Similarly, Turkish forces stationed in Sheikh Naser base to the east of al-Bab city shelled positions in al-Fawares farm in the same countryside.

 

On September 24, SOHR sources reported clashes with heavy and medium machineguns between Kurdish forces and the Turkish-backed National Army on the frontlines of Harbal village in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Observatory activists had reported clashes between Kurdish forces and the National Army in the early hours of Friday morning, along with Turkish artillery fire on Sheikh Issa village in the northern countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
