Air drop | Civilian shot dead after air drop by International Coalition in east Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: A civilian died after sustained wounds with another two yesterday when clashes erupted between the international Coalition and the three persons during the air drops that were conducted by SOHR.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the International Coalition forces carried out in the early hours of Sunday an air drop in al-Shaheel area in east Deir Ezzor countryside.
Details about the air drop unveiled that a helicopter of the International Coalition chased three members of ISIS who were hiding near a checkpoint for the Special Forces in al-Shabaka neighborhood in al-Shaheel town.

The two sides exchanged fire which killed three ISIS members near Euphrates River in al-Shaheel town, who are from Swuidan Jazeerah village.

In al-Zar village in east Deir Ezzor, the international coalition with participation of five ground forces in the early morning of Sunday also made an air drop that targeted a house hosting ISIS affiliated members.

The forces via speakers asked all the people in the house to hand themselves, but clashes started and three people in the house were wounded. The International Coalition forces withdrew after arresting the suspects and burning their house.
