SOHR: Explosions heard on Russian Hmeimim base in Lattakia countryside

Explosions were heard in the area of ​​the Russian Hmeimim base, caused by the Russian air defenses responding to a missile attack on the base located in the countryside of Latakia.

On Monday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that explosions resounded in the area of ​​the largest Russian base in Syria – the Hmeimim base – which it said was caused by the Russian air defenses repelling a missile attack on the base located in the countryside of Latakia.
Rockets fell within agricultural lands in the Qardaha and Jableh countryside, causing material damage, but no information on casualties. No information has been obtained about any missile landing inside the base until now.
