Euphrates Shield explosions | 25 killed and wounded in two blasts in Jerbalus city east Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported more casualties due to the explosion of a booby-trapped motorbike in the city of Jerbalus within the areas under control of the Euphrates Shield factions operation room in northeast Aleppo. The deaths rise to two while wounded rise to 14 including three women and five children.

Number of deaths is expected to rise because some of the wounded have sustained severe injuries. Meanwhile, the other IED explosion near the local municipality has left five wounded.

Earlier, SOHR reported that Jerablus city under control of Turkey-backed factions in northeast Aleppo witnessed two violent explosions on Tuesday morning, the first of which was caused by IED near the local municipally of the city leaving five wounded while the second explosion took place by booby-trapped motorbike at the road of Euphrates River in the city leading to the murder of one and while other ten sustained severe wounds.

On August 31, OHR activists reported that five people, including children, were injured in an explosion believed to be caused by the explosion of an IED in the house of a member of the 9th Division in Jarabulus city which is under control of Turkish-backed factions, north-east of Aleppo.

Local sources suggested that the explosion was caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder.

On August 19, violent explosion was heard in Jarabulus controlled by Turkish-backed factions in Aleppo countryside due to explosion of an ammunition warehouse of the military factions, but no casualties were reported.

On the other hand, a man and a woman were wounded in an IED explosion in a car, “Santa Fe” make, near Sheikh Saad grave in Azaz city in north Aleppo countryside.
