SOHR: A car bomb explodes in As-Suwayda

An explosive device planted under a car exploded in the town of Rasas in the countryside of As-Suwayda, southern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
According to the observatory, the device was parked in the car of the leader of an armed group affiliated with the security services, which led to his death on the spot.
Local sources in As-Suwayda said: “A car exploded in the town of Rasas at the southern entrance to the city of As-Suwayda, killing the driver of the car, in addition to damaging houses and shops in the place.” The province and city of As-Suwayda are witnessing skirmishes between government forces and their loyalists, the opposition “Men of Dignity” movement, and explosions, most of them with explosive devices.
