Reacting to regime’s bombardment on residential areas | Opposition factions shell regime positions in Hama countryside

SOHR activists have reported that opposition factions have shelled, with artillery shells and rockets, regime positions near Jurin town in Sahl al-Ghab area in the western countryside of Hama.

This attack came as a response to the regime’s bombardment, this morning, on residential areas in towns, cities and villages in Idlib countryside.

SOHR activists had reported the death of a displaced woman from Afes region in eastern Idlib due to the rocket fire by regime forces on the area of Batenta camp in the vicinity of Ma’aret Masren in Idlib countryside. The shelling also left five displaced people, two children and three women, injured in Areha and Jisr al-Shughur cities and Jiftelk, Qatroun and Barisha villages in al-Wastany Mountain.

Meanwhile, Russian jets had executed airstrikes over al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib, where a Turkish observation point is located.

Moreover, Russian fighter jets executed several airstrikes earlier this morning on al-Ziyarah town in Sahl al-Ghab in north-western Hama.
