SOHR: Turkey-Backed Forces Shell SDF Positions in North Syria

The positions of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) once again came under artillery shelling by the Turkey-backed Islamist rebels in Ain Issa, north of Syria, a local source said.

The shelling has left at least one young civilian, a shepherd from a nearby village, injured, the source told BasNews, noting that several positions of the Syrian regime forces were also targeted in the bombardment.

No official statements on the possible casualty figures were immediately available.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the majority of the residents of Debs village in western Ain Issa, near M4 highway, have fled their homes due to the repeated bombardments.
