“De-escalation zone” | Turkish forces react to regime bombardment on eastern Idlib, shelling several positions with artillery

SOHR activists have reported that regime forces fired over 30 rockets on positions in the surrounding areas of al-Nayrab town in the eastern countryside of Idlib and Majdaliya town in south Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, Turkish forces reacted to the regime’s rocket fire by bombarding regime positions in Saraqeb city, Tel Mardikh and the industrial area in eastern Saraqeb with artillery.

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that a Russian fighter jet executed two airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone”, targeting positions in Jabal al-Akrad in north Latakia countryside and the outskirts of al-Kindah town in Jisr al-Shughour countryside in western Idlib. These airstrikes came after suspension of Russian aerial operations since Friday.
