With announcement of pullout of Iraq and extension of sanctions on Turkey | US forces meet with SDF commanders in al-Hasakah

SOHR sources have reported that US military delegations met with commanders of Syria Democratic Forces for two consecutive days in a US military base in al-Malikiyyah area (Dayrek) in al-Hasakah countryside. The meeting comes after an announcement by US forces of military pullout of Iraq.

On the other hand, the White House has announced that the US president “Joe Biden” extended the sanction imposed on Turkey over their military operations on the Kurdish forces in Syria in 2019 for one more year.
