Aleppo countryside | After shooting down Turkish drone, new drone bombards positions in Kurdish-held areas

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a drone bombarded the surrounding areas of the Kurdish-held village of al-Bayloniyah in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the recent attack.

On the other hand, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported that Turkish forces expanded their ground bombardment this evening, targeting the villages of Oqayba, al-Malikiyah, Soghanka, the perimeter of Menagh military airbase and al-Shawargha, after they had shelled positions in the villages of Wardiyeh, Sadd al-Shahbaa and Tel Magharat al-Abd a few hours ago. Meanwhile, Kurdish forces managed to shoot down a Turkish drone on Mar’anaz frontline in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that the Kurdish forces shelled, with heavy artillery, the perimeter of the Turkish post near the national hospital on the outskirts of Azaz city in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The bombardment resulted in the cutting off of the road between Afrin and Azaz.

This bombardment came after rocket attacks by Turkish forces and their proxies on several villages in north Aleppo countryside since morning, as these attacks targeted al-Wardiyyah, Sadd al-Shahbaa, Tel Madiq and Magharat al-Abd which caused material damage only.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning rocket fire by Turkish forces and their proxies on positions in the Kurdish-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The rockets hit al-Wardiyyah, Tel Madiq and Magharat al-Abd and caused material damage.
