Crimes escalate in regime-held areas | Two bodies found in Homs and Rif Dimashq, while another civilian killed in Daraa over retaliation

SOHR activists have reported that a taxi driver from al-Zahraa neighbourhood in Homs city was found dead in al-Raqamah district in the eastern countryside of Homs, after he was kidnapped and his car, “Saba” make, was seized last Thursday. It is worth noting that the car was found in al-Worud neighbourhood.

 

In Daraa, a civilian known by his initials as R. A. was shot dead by gunmen over “an old revenge”, as local sources stated, as it is believed that R. A. had killed a young man of the gunmen’s family.

 

Meanwhile, residents of Deir Muqrin town in Wadi Barada area in Rif Dimashq found the body of a member of the 4th  Division, yesterday, dumped in the town’s cemetery.

 

SOHR documented since the beginning of September until today death of 29 persons in different areas under control of the Syrian regime and with different methods. Some of those accidents happened due to family differences and others for unknown reasons.

 

The victims who included a child and a female can be categorized as the following: eight in Latakkia and Tardos, seven in Reef Dimashq, four in Idlib, three in al-Suwidaa and one in Aleppo
