Afrin Liberation Forces’ rocket attack | Two Turkish soldiers reportedly killed in northern Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have obtained information, that has yet to be verified, on the death of two Turkish soldiers and the injury of two militiamen of Turkish-backed factions, after targeting their vehicles with a guided missile fired by Afrin Liberation Forces near Mare’ city in north Aleppo countryside.

SOHR activists have just reported that at least three members of the Turkish-backed factions and a Turkish soldier were injured by targeting a military vehicle they were traveling in with a guided missile fired by Afrin Liberation Forces. The attack took place on Sandaf road near the city of Mare’ in the northern countryside of Aleppo, amid unconfirmed reports of the death of the Turkish soldier affected by the severe wounds he sustained.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces bombarded the Kurdish-held village of Sheikh Issa in the northern countryside of Aleppo with artillery, as a reaction to the attack by the Kurdish-backed military formation near the town of Mare’, which injured the Turkish soldier.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a drone bombarded the surrounding areas of the Kurdish-held village of al-Bayloniyah in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the recent attack.
