Death toll update | Casualties in Afrin explosion rise to nine killed and ten wounded

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported rise of the human casualties due to the explosion that hit Afrin city under control of the Turkish forces and factions of the Olive Branch operation room in west Aleppo on Monday.

Number of deaths rise to nine including four of fighters of Ankara-backed factions and five civilians who were inside the exploded car including a female. Number of the death is expected to rise because some of the ten wounded have sustained severe injuries.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported murder of six including members of factions loyal to Turkey. The explosion also left 12 civilians including two children wounded and have been transferred to nearby hospitals.

On the other hand, Afrin Police arrested two suspected young men who were involved in the explosion in overcrowded place and took them to its detention centers.

Earlier, a civilian was killed and other five wounded in car explosion in Afrin city that is under control of the Turkish forces and its loyal factions in Aleppo countryside.
